RE: A Touch of Evil, The Supernatural Game
I'm looking forward to AToE too,we liked LNoE but this game
seems a little like Fury of Dracula, which I LOVE. The one rule is I have to play the Vampire:cool: M This night...I feel your breath This night...I hear your voice!! When you walk my dark path, love like a bloodbath |

I bought Tannhauser, Talisman and Last Night On Earth. Casually we play Talisman. But I haven't even played Tannhauser yet. Oh well.

RE: A Touch of Evil, The Supernatural Game
I got Tannhauser & its ok but the english releases are
just too slow. The Pathfinder system grows old with just the 2 boards. OD Sighing like the night wind and sobbing like the rain,— Wailing for the lost one that comes not again: |

What do you guys consider to be the main problem with Tannhauser?

Emp Wrote:What do you guys consider to be the main problem with Tannhauser? In my experience, it seems to be a bit of play balancing issues. The Reich is nigh unstoppable. But, that is just a minor quibble. For me, the story, the minis, and the 'experience' are the most important qualities. |

RE: A Touch of Evil, The Supernatural Game
Emp Wrote:What do you guys consider to be the main problem with Tannhauser? Well this is Thread Drift:rolleyes: But here is my problem with Tannhauser (which I really do like) 1.The Pathfinder System-yes its a neat system but Tannhauser only has 2 boards so its gets rather old going over the same ground even if the objectives are different. The "Russian Expansion"adds anothe board but its 2nd Board is the same as one of The base game boards,so once you play a few games on the expansion your back to the same old problem. Frankly we have taken to using other game tiles to get some varity & ignore the Pathfinder system. 2.Release schedule for the English editions-the French edition expansion has been out for months but FFG has not come forth with the English edition. Also the French Tannhauser home page is alive with game stuff but the FFG Tannhauser Support is rather lacking. 3.Some people have complained about the lack of ready to go balanced Missions-the base game really puts you on your own to create Missions based on their Modes of Play. I like the setting & will get the Expansion when FFG finally issues it but the lack of support in the English Games is flustrating, so the game doesn't make the table too often.
