Finally my Investigators have Clues enough to do some good if I can Research them
next turn.Azathoth is however on the move Doom Tokens on the Scenario Sheet are building up
& the Abyssal Servant if it gets to Attack could do massive damage to any Investigator I have as their
Health is low.

Friday,December 31,1920-New Years Eve

-Moves to River Road
-Researches Clue but finds nothing (Fails Observation Test )

Tommy

-Moves to River Docks
-Wards -removes Doom & uses Silver Key to remove 1 more

Jenny

-Moves to River Docks
-Researches her Clues-with Occult Scripture but finds nothing(Fails Observation Test)
then uses Find Izzie Talent causing 1 Health & 1 Sanity Loss & is able to solve 2 Clues
(rerolled & Passes Observation Test).She now understands that the Time distortions are
the result of Rituals the Cultist are preforming & the Team must discover the Ritual Site.
(the 4 Clues on the Scenario Sheet adds A Codex Card & 5 Markers are placed on the Board
that will help pinpoint the Ritual Site & the Epicenter of the Time Distortions)

Monster Phase:

-Abyssal Servant moves to street between Northside & Merchant District now seeking Dexter

Dexter-A Melody floats in the air at the Docks but it suddenly raised to terrible screams
Dexter suffers 2 Horrors.

Tommy-A down on his luck ex-soldier is babbling nonsense Tommy give $2 & the ex-soldier
warns him about the Nemesis Moon & the Daemon Sultan.1 Doom is removed from the Merchant
District & the Anomaly is lifted.

Jenny-At the Docks runs into crewman from the Sarutan Maru but she ignores them.

Mythos Phase:

-Gate Burst-East Side Doom surge triggers a Terrible Crashing sound as Arkham is eloped in
an Distortion Bubble.Azathoth Awakens!(2 new Codex Cards placed & 2 more Mythos Tokens are added to the
Mythos Cup Gate Burst & Spread Doom)
-Gate Burst-Doom surge in Rivertown causes Anomaly

Tommy

The year is ending badly. The end is near I can still win but it will be easier to lose.
The adding & removing Archive Cards from the Codex Deck drive the story along & really provide
for the "peeling of the onion" effect of Lovecraft stories. It's cool the first time you play
the Scenario where you have no idea what will come up.I have noticed that it depends on events
in the Game as to what Cards come & go in the Codex so it's not always going to be the same
story line

-Zora his Ally restores 1 Sanity to him

-Attacks Hooded Stalker & defeats him
-Wards-removes 1 Doom( passes Lore Test) & focus on another but no luck(fails a reroll via pocket Watch)

Jenny

-Moves to Arkham Asylum -Spends $1 for extra move
-Gathers Resources & gains $1

-NA-Abyssal Servant senses no prey (no Inv.has clues)

Dexter -At River Docks is engaged by crew of Sautan Maru but is not interested in their dealings

Tommy-Anomaly cause weird dream of other world library -wakes & is able to remove 1 Doom(pass Lore Test)

Jenny-at Asylum meets Dr.Mintz but refuses treatment

The New Year isn't starting so great either.I did manage to get the final clue on
the Scenario Sheet (needed 5) but another Doom Token arrived on the Scenario Sheet as well.
The Abyssal Servant has been neutralized as he can't move unless he senses an Investigator
with Clues & there are none-that's why there are refusing any encounter that would give them a Clue.

Things are coming to a head & the Game is in the balance. To win I need to get Investigators
to the Epicenter of the Time Distortions which is at the Black Cave.Once there they must jump
into the Future & pass Lore Tests before the Doom Tokens overwhelm the Scenario Sheet. Plus
each turn in Encounter in the Future costs Sanity.

So Jenny losing her Blessed Card (to cancel the Cursed) is rather hurtful to my chances of winnning

-Moves to the Black Cave(Epicenter)& jumps to the Future where Arkham is a jumble
of ruins.
-Begins to ritual to cast an Elder Sign around Arkham.He has a success (pass -2 lore test)

-Tommy moves to Black Cave & jumps to future
-Enters into Ritual & has another Success(pass -2 Lore Test)

Jenny

-Attacks Ravenous Predator -inflicts 2 wounds (pass Strength test)
-Evades & moves to Black Cave(passes Observation Test)
-Enters into Ritual & has a Success(pass -2 Lore Test)

Monster Phase:

Abyssal Servant -can't move as can't sense any Clues on Investigators
-Ravenous Predator becomes ready

Encounter Phase-All Investigators are in Future & viewing the destruction they
each suffer 2 Horrors-Dexter takes his,Tommy takes 1 & ally Turo takes 1 & flees(discard his Card),
Jenny takes 1 & her Token of Faith takes 1 & restores 1 Sanity to Henny.

Mythos Phase:

Dexter

-Undisturbed-Blank
-Reckoning-NA (no cultist on Board)

Tommy

-Gate Burst-3 Doom Tokens at Eastside but the Anomaly there redirects them to the Scenario Screen.
The incoming Doom overwhelms the Scenario Street. A rift breaks the sky, earthquakes & volcanic activity
follows as Azalthoth appears.The world dies.

Game Lost

The Investigators & their Allies slowly awake at the mouth of the Black Cave to a normal cold winter day.
They are shaken & dismayed at their failure to stop the destruction of the world that they experienced in the future.
They will be able to carry back a warning to the Committee which gives them some small comfort as they end their investigation.

Well world I tried.Great Game I had a good chance of winning on the next turn (just need 2 more Lore Test to pass)
but that Final Gate Burst put enough Doom to trigger the loss.If the Gate Burst was in any of the 4 other Tiles
I would have been ok but as fate/luck would have it The Easttown had the remaining Anomaly so I had to put the
3 Doom on the Scenario Sheet.

Investigation Findings & Conclusions
Re: Dexter Report -RESTRICTED PROCTERS EYES ONLY

Findings:

The Investigation has revealed the activities of a Death Cult dedicated
to ending the world by Summoning Azalthoth.The Investigators were able to
find the reasons for the Time Distortions & the sense of dread & doom
to Rituals the cultist were conducting.

They manage to pierce the Epicenter of the Time Distortions & were drawn into a future
where the Daemon Sultan destroyed the world. It now appears that the Cult is aware that
they have been discovered & are lying low as witnessed by the lifting of the feeling
of Doom & Dread from Arkham.

Conclusions:

Although the Investigation failed to find the Cult it did stop their Rituals but
it's obvious once the Cultists feel it's safe again they will start the Rituals up.
When that happens the signs will show again & we must be ready to stop them from
bringing their terrible future to pass.
