The Dark Degrees


The Templer Mission to confront Evil began to
uncover evidence of a vast underlying darkness
to the world.Cryptic utterances of madmen about
"those who wait beyond reality"& strange passages
in forbidden tomes hinted of incredibly Evil Beings.

Few Templers survived investigations into these matters & fewer of those retained their Sanity.

Finally in 1314 the Scottish King, himself a Grand Master
formed an Ultra Secret Order "The Herodem Order"
known when referred to at all as H.R.D.M. Degree.
Carefully selected individuals culled from the Ranks
of the Templers for their Esoteric Knowledge & Stability.

These men were sent out to explore the cosmic horror
that was/is the Mythos.Later under the Freemasons
the H.R.D.M. Degree was opened to selected Eastern
Star Templers to help maintain the pool of viable
Investigators .

When the Illuminati Schism occurred their leaders
formed their own Herodem Order calling the Degree
R.S.Y.C.S.

These Templers referred to as The Black Degrees
under take the most dangerous missions of all,
delving into the blackest of Darkness.



I added this to cover my AToE /Arkhan Horror
Stuff.It basically will allow Heros to use Spells
& Sanity
