I was talking to some of the testers from Flying Frog at a IFOS launch party in Seattle and they were explaining that with the different alien races in the upcoming game being less humanoid than what we've seen from FF in the past that they wanted to go with a illustrated look instead of relying on CG for the whole game.
In fact the tester stated that some of the cards that will be in the new game look to be hinting at old sci-fi movie posters so that sounds good to me. |
