Aussie Noob Questions
Ok as promised in the introduction I said I would have some questions, so here they are;

1) Becky (Nurse) starts with a First aid kit that states 'heals another hero', can she use it on herself?

2) A hero in the same square as a zombie, who they intend to fight, can they search before the fight?

3) Using dynimite to blow a spawn pit up, whilst waiting your complete turn, can you search? or must you be idle for the whole turn?

4) When a zombie uses resilient to remove a gun from the hero, can the hero then use 'ammo' to bring the gun back?

5) The sheriff starts with the revolver, does that mean he picks the card out of the deck? or we just know that he has one.

6) when fighting the zombie rolls one die and gets a 6, does this mean the hero (allowing for no cards used) needs to roll double 6 to survive as zombies win on draw? this is a almost win roll for a zombie when no cards are used?

7) Using events, can a hero only use an event during the heroes turn?

8) The card 'recovery' states it can be used to remove a wound, can this be used on any hero anywhere on the board? The first aid states they need to be in the same square. So is recovery limited to the owner?

Sry for all the questions, the wife and I been playing a few games and these have come up recently.

Thanks again. Zombie17

RE: Aussie Noob Questions
1: The nurse does not start with a first aid kit. She has her "first aid" ability. But no, she cannot heal herself with the ability -- only others. Her ability, by the way, is one of the most confused. This is largely because of the wording "the hero turn". http://flyingfrogwiki.com/ffpwiki/index....:First_Aid

2: Yes. It's a common tactic. If they only roll 1 or 2 on their movement dice to stay and search, hoping to get something to use in the fight.

3: I believe the scenario states that burning the spawning pit or fueling the truck makes the hero "Give up your turn." This prevents any other actions. It also means that they'd have to start in the space.

4: Yes. Read Ammo. It says 'discarded for any reason'. If you need to imagine it, "resilient" zombies are extra-tough and the hero empties the clip on it.

5: Pick it out of the deck. This also means that when he runs out of ammo, the card will be in the discard for him to pick up again (using his other ability).

6: Zombies win on a tie. If the zombie rolls a 6, he's winning no matter what the hero rolls, unless they have some ability to add to their dice or win on a tie. Doubles *only* matter if the hero already has won the fight by having the highest dice. Even if the hero rolls double sixes and the zombie rolls a six -- the zombie wounds the hero. The zombie wins the fight by having the highest roll [wins on ties]. That there are doubles is irrelevant.

7: Events can be used at any time, unless the card says otherwise.

8: Hm, the Flying Frog Wiki doesn't have "Recovery" in it properly to check the exact wording. Could you post it?

RE: Aussie Noob Questions
Thanks for the above, another game tonight............ 3 times in three nights :P should be so lucky.

Ref: recovery vs first aid

Recovery :
Event - First Aid

Play on any hero (except in a fight) to Heal one wound from them.
**Does this mean you can play it on another hero on the other side of the map?**

First Aid :
Item - First Aid

States you must be in the same square or adjacent whereas Recovery does not.

Thanks in advance.

RE: Aussie Noob Questions
"Any hero". It doesn't specify a space limitation (few events do). Play it on anyone anywhere.

Novice warning: each zombie you fight counts as its own "Fight", so it can be used between multiple zombie fights in the same phase. You just can't use it once you've decided to move on to the next one and start seeing what cards are being played/dice rolled.
