Betrayal v Mansions
Now that we have post up on each one of these Games
that both involve exploring an old house I just found
this Link over on BGG that actually compares the two.

Actually I think Mansions has more in common with the old
"Chill" Board Game.

Isn't Chill a RPG ? Or does a Chill boardgame exist too ?

CHILL was a RPG but it also had a board Game called Blackmorn Manor.
If you check it out you can see the background for both Games

Thanks for the link, old dwarf, it was an interesting read. I probably will buy them both. I love the haunted horror house theme. And both games seem very promising and not quite so similar anyway in gameplay. Nice Stuff!

RE: Betrayal v Mansions
I am so excited for Mansions of Madness. If it weren't so oddly priced, I'd be more enticed, of course, as I must see how worth it is. However, I was pleased with Betrayal, even with the warping issues that ensued.

RE: Betrayal v Mansions
Ah, Black Morn Manor, that really takes me back. I've still got my copy tucked away on the shelves. I had already twigged that Betrayal was the illegitimate offspring of BMM, but I had put MoM down to being the descendant of the Call of Cthulhu RPG.

I can't see the rules for MoM quickly enough. I was hoping for the PDF last week, but we got the video instead... cool, but not quite the same. Watchmen02
