Billy

Everyone in my group always moans when they get Billy. I agree with them. He's the most underwhelming of all the heroes to get. He has youth, and +1 movement. While the +1 movement is great on some scenarios, it almost always pales compared to what everyone else has.

How would everyone suggest fixing Billy up a little bit?

One thought that springs to mind (and may have been suggested on BGG) is making Billy's movement be a 6 space move instead of just a +1 to movement. Every turn Billy has the choice to move up to 6 spaces. This would more clearly represent his Trackstar ability.

A simple fix I've considered might be to start him with the Guitar card, if you have it.

Hmm... Actually we believe that Billys ability is one of the best in the game. Might seem a little lame, but it ensures that he always mowes away from the zombies reach and more than 10 games have been decided by Billys quick feet...

We've always liked Billy, also. At our table, no character gets a bigger moan than Kenny ... but at least we get to hear everyone do their best Cartman voice....

That's a cool idea. I like the idea of a different Hero starting out with something like the Cops do. I wonder if any of these new cards/expansions with have any more weapons/items with the keyword 'Music', like the Guitar? Always wondered where they might go with this odd keyword...

We've never altered any of the Heroes' abilities, but one thing we did with Billy was give him 6 spaces + D6 when on the Motorcycle instead of 2D6 that everyone else gets. Similar to how Jenny moves 6 spaces instead of D6 when she's on her horse -- T.J.

We found Billy to play a huge roll in "We've go to go Back!" and "All Hallow's Eve" in that his trackstar ability allows him to retrieve biocanisters quickly and go from building to building interrogating townsfolk. Other than that, if there's Heavy Rain, it's a sad sad day for Billy.
