Citadel technical paints
Not sure if anyone has had a chance to check these out, but when it comes to putting blood on a mini the Blood for the Blood God paint is great as it applies well and retains a wet look, perfect for blood splatter, guts, and pools. It's super easy to use too, so you don't need to be a master painter to get good results.

Yeah it's good stuff. I use it too. I used to use lots of techniques to get blood looking right but this stuff makes life easier.
