Complete My Mine Cart

Complete My Mine Cart
FFP just e-mailed that Mine Cart Wave 2 may be delayed
even though Wave 2 is shipping as not everything has been
delivered from China (Lets hope Trump doesn't mess with
China too much).

They also have a deal to pick up goodies they added after
the KS closes for Outlaw & Mine Cart backers. So as I'm
in for the penny & coughed up an extra $50 to "Complete
the Mine Cart Pledge"- at least shipping is free Watchmen02

I thought it was a nice bit of customer service to offer
package upgrades as the "extras" were getting confusing Zombie12

RE: Complete My Mine Cart
I've been had Zombie22 . The Complete the Mine Cart
sounded good so I went for it. Now I discovered after
finding my actual PM order from 18 months ago that
I had already ordered 2 of the Complete Mine Cart
items as extra & paid for them.

Now according to the FFP e-mail it appears that they
won't send you anything you already had ordered but
they will keep the $50 you just gave them!

So you won't get double (which at least been something
you could find use for) so I just "donated" $30 to FFP..

This is causing a lot of bitching on the SoB KS Site so
I hope FFP makes this right by at least sending the extra
figs ,refunding or giving store credit. Otherwise they are
basically screwing over the customers who supported
the KS the most.

RE: Complete My Mine Cart
So SoB responded to the S**t Storm they set off by saying you MC customers got a good deal
so you don't get any credit, refund or even the duplicate figs. So if you just sent us another $50
thanks sucker.

Oh they did say if you really felt wronged you could send them an e-mail & they would take it
into consideration (whatever that means?) At this point I've had it with the Frog, love the Games
but their KS are total FU. I waited & waited for Wave2 & will wait some more NEVER AGAIN will
I back a KS from these people I'm just glad I wasn't sucked into Forbidden Fortress.

RE: Complete My Mine Cart
I do hope they continue to burn the goodwill from the KS, so future ones might not succeed, so they can return to the normal release channels as they had before.

RE: Complete My Mine Cart
Sorry to hear that, Dwarf. I'm still waiting for them to send me the PM for the new "extras", and had decided not to get the new stuff, but I guess I still need to respond that I'm not buying into the new deal before they will send the stuff I already ordered(?). This whole KS has been a runaround of mishandling and reaching further than their grasp on what they can logistically handle.

I still can't believe they ran the Forbidden Fortress campaign before Brimstone was complete. I'm with you - no more Frog KS for me.

RE: Complete My Mine Cart
I just got my Confirm Order/Address email & checked they had my old address, I did the Link to change
it but it had no way to do it! (typical FFP) I finally reopened the order & was able to change it.
(probably what you were suppose to do but a clear " Open Order to change address" would have
been less confusing. My order to not contain the Complete My Pledge stuff but I guess FFP will
work that out.

Really at my age you never know so I guess I'll put receive Wave2 on my Bucket List.

RE: Complete My Mine Cart
I will note that everyone who felt wronged and emailed the Frogs who has received a reply (it seems the Frogs are still working their way through them) has been really happy with how it got resolved. So if you're feeling wronged, you may want to contact them with your situation.

I'm a little surprised to see a desire for the Frogs to fail from mgstout, I'll be honest...

RE: Complete My Mine Cart
Speaking for myself, I don't feel wronged, but the Kickstarter fulfillment time vs. fulfillment changes vs. early pickups vs. price structure debates have all left a bad taste in my mouth about the campaign in general, and on top of that the fact that I just don't find the game very fun is stopping me from buying into any more of these epic-sized games of theirs. Give me a nice LNOE sized boxed game, and I'm all over it, but no more mega price tag games that feel too unwieldy for them to handle.

Wanting them to fail is a little far - I wish them all the best in their endeavors - but I do wish they'd scale back down to a pre-Brimstone point of game production.

RE: Complete My Mine Cart
I don't see mgstout as saying he wants FFP itself to fail just to be discouraged from doing giant KS
that cause headaches for them & stop expansions to their current Game Line.

I'm glad the Frog is replying to customers but I don't see where it's really worth the effort, for me
it's not.

RE: Complete My Mine Cart
Right. I absolutely don't want them to fail. I just want their "goodwill" or "kickstarter human capital" to be expended so they return to a better, more traditional development and release style.
