Yes! The tiny dice is comes with roll 1's too much (or at least that has been our experience). I just replaced them with some standard bicycle dice.

When I first started this thread, I had just placed the order for those red and white dice. They turned out to be back ordered, so I just got them today. Let me tell ya, the pic does those dice no justice. These are some of the most wicked dice I have ever seen. I have decided to use them in all my games that require d6's.

I am using the white ones that come with it, they are the right size for the game - IMO, but I do like the idea of other color dice, I just like how the white stands out so much on the board or around it

I use the same dice for my Zombies. I also purchased the White w/ Black for the Heroes. Rounded corners are key to keep dents to your playing surface from happening, but nothing beats a dice tray.

I prefer the rounded corners, too, I feel they "roll" more.

I had the same problem with my board getting dented up( with the bigger 16mm dice), then I decided to get the 12mm dice but in a different color. This was that outcome.
