Dynamite question.
My HERO has two dynamite item cards and a torch.

Can he light his dynamite in successive turns? Or does the torch get discarded once it lights the dynamite....same for the lighter?

RE: Dynamite question.
Good question.
I don't think you should discard the lighter. I mean, this keeps working right?
The torch...hmm...that's a little more tricky since you light these things only ones.

I'd say...discard the torch after one time use but keep the lighter for multiple uses.
Doesn't it say something about that on the card/in the book?

RE: Dynamite question.
Unfortunately, it doesn't say that anywhere that I could see, but maybe I've overlooked it.

I think you should be able to keep either the torch or the lighter.....at least for lighting dynamite, or for ignoring the effects for 'lights out'.

Now, maybe throwing it on a gas marker should cause you to lose it.

RE: Dynamite question.
In case of the lighter I agree. But the torch is in my opinion a one time only item. You light it and then it burns untill it dies out.
We are talking torch as in this thing right?

I meant this torch:

Actually, the picture you post is normally called a flare or a road flare here in the states.

I had assumed the torch was more like this:

Wood with the top wrapped in cloth, dipped in gas....They burn for quite some time!

RE: Dynamite question.
There may be some confusion as to the usage of the word torch in different countries. In European countries torch is usually a flare or a flashlight, in the us a torch is usually a propane or mapp gas torch and as such is reusable until out of fuel which takes an eternity. I would say given the games country of origin it would be the latter.

RE: Dynamite question.
Yeah, I think for Dynamite, I'm allowing the torch to be kept.

For lighting Gasoline, it does say to 'discard the item' to use the gasoline as an explosion.

Then why not show a real propane gas "torch" on the card? On the card it's clearly a flare and with a little imagination you can make a torch out of it like Supervike says. But then again...if it's a torch like Supervike says...don't you need a real lighter or matches to light it? I can't imagine real torches that are burning laying around. Zombie03

We play it with a one time use, then discard.
