Favorite LNOE hero to play (original group)

I like to play a Jake the Drifter. I when I do play a hero (which is rare) I'm usually that the role of "here I found something for you"

I picked Becky. Her ability to heal other people usually means that the player who picked her is very team-oriented, and that energy seems to bleed out (so to speak) to the team as a whole.

Sherriff is almost always picked in our group, though. Not necessarily as a starting Hero, but he usually ends up being brought into play at some point. That gun is pretty alluring.

Sally is the other original LNOE'er who has a following in our group. Shes just badass with the luck ability and it can work for a player who is aggressive and wants to fight, or a player who is avoidant and wants to avoid fights.

I like Sally and Johnny the best. Their abilities have gotten me out of some tight spots, and can prove really deadly with the right mix of items and event cards.

I tend to lose characters like Becky and Father Joseph very quickly, especially when the hospital tile is in play for Becky!

It's funny. After playing the game for a while, I was leaning towards two favorites from the original group. Well... funny enough... they are the two currently winning the poll as of my post here. LOL! The Sheriff and Jake Cartwright.

But, I voted for the Sheriff, as he is my favorite by a small margin. It definitely helps that he starts the game with a gun, and can pretty much always get a gun. But, I also just like the character.

Same with the Drifter. I enjoy the character, but his ability also does come in rather handy... especially in scenarios where you are looking for specific items.

Sheriff and Jake are the most popular with my group, with Becky being the least popular... doesn't help that becky starts so close to the mogue, aka a zombie spawning pit. It's also difficult to use her healing ability as she needs to end her turn on another character's space.
