Thanks for the kind words and encouragement! As has been said before, the ink or wash really does make the difference and shows off the detail. I have to do a fair bit of 'touching up' where one colour has gone over another. That's why I use single colours as you can never get the same mix twice.
I hadn't thought of painting the bases but will look into this. I guess you would try to paint them as per their normal starting locations? |
