WORD! If you haven't checked out SamuraiTrev's painting guides on this site yet, you totally should. His work is outstanding, and the guides are a fun read. They are how I learned to paint my minis last year, and I have been very happy with the results. He covers how to do the bases well to. Check out his Tomb in the forums. The guides are in "A Brush with Death."
