Halloween Gaming ?
On the off chance someone is here besides Russian Bots
I thought I'd ask about any special Gaming Plans for
October/Halloween.

Usually I break out A Touch of Evil around Halloween
but this year I going with the just released Court of the Dead:
Mourners call.

The Game is basically a power struggle to control the Underworld
between 3 Factions" Bone/Flesh/Spirit.

It's played on a big map board representing the Underworld
& each Faction has Mourner minions figures. The Cards & art work
are top notch & it drips Theme ( based on the Court of the Dead
world from the Court of the Dead collectable figures & graphic novels.

So anyone else have doing Halloween Gaming?

RE: Halloween Gaming ?
My friend's coming to town for a "adult play date" on the 27th and we're going to have a full day of gaming. LNOE will likely be in there, and probably a light-horror RPG too. I might twist some arms to get Fury of Dracula (2e) to the table, since I like it and NEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEVER get to play it.

I have a bunch of never-yet-played Halloweeny type games, but it's hard to pull them out when there are great favorites.

RE: Halloween Gaming ?
I have a lot of Lovecraft Mythos themed games that fit the season but I tend to bring
them out in November.

RE: Halloween Gaming ?
My wife is teaching some Random People how to play LNoE in Nov at a gaming convention, so we'll probably get a few plays of that in to refamiliarize. I'd really like to get A Touch of Evil to the table. Haven't played it EVER and I bought it and Something Wicked... damn two years ago now!

RE: Halloween Gaming ?
I usually read some books and look at games I haven't played in a while. Arkham Horror 2nd is fun, but now that my wife really isn't interested in my hobbies, a lot of my gaming is a solo affair. That being said, I'll be playing the new Horrified game (really fun btw), Elder Sign and then on Halloween A Touch of Evil.
