Welcome to the boards. I always love seeing such enthusiastic member join. ;-) I would agree with the advice that Zombicide is good if you want a solo zombie game. Though, I definitely see what you mean on it being pricey... especially if you want all the special goodies they offer with their Kickstarter stuff.

Yesterday I bought conquest of planet earth and traded for the expansions. I also traded for FanG and bought the expansion. other than the invasion of the bigtop game all i am missing is some promo cards. does anyone here ever trade their promos away?
