Here's a run down(for those of you who haunt BGG)
4-new Hero Figs & Boards:The Scarlet Shadow,Adrianna(The Fireign Travler) Lucy Hanbrook & Harlow Morgan(the Inventor). So? Scarlet Shadow-Combat is his big thing but Cunning is good & Honor is high.He also has a Shadow Move ability which allows him to move to any space.He starts at the Abondoned Keep & also is placed there if he is KO'D.He needs to keep out of Town Spaces as it forces him to make a Cunning check & failure cost d6 Inv.Tokens or 1 wound for each Inv,Token he is unable to pay. Adrianna-she is blind but has enhanced senses,which allow her during combat to roll her dice & resolve any hits before the opponent can fight back.She however can't use a Book or Map.Equal average stats & Honor is above average-a tough cookie Lucy-Starts at Manor & is placed there if KO'D.& starts with 4 Inv.Tokens.Her Spirit is average & her other stats are below average except for Honor which is above..She as the Lucky Ability & Youth which helps her crappy wounds rating. Harlow-Big on Cunning & really terrible on his other stats although Honor is average.Abilities help him-Genius gets him free Inv Tokens each turn,Invention lets him pull ITEMS from any discard pile & Quick Thinking lets him trade Inv Tokens for a quick increase in Fight dice. New Villian -The Necromancer (no fig but he does have a token in the SWTWC Expanson).Above average combat & wounds.He uses the Vampire Minion Chart.Heroes need combined Spirit & Cunning of 8 or they can only hit on a natural roll of 6.Besides that his abilities are Eruption of the Dead(bring on the Walking Dead), Rentless Advance(moves Minions every Mystery Phase),Death's Embrace (Villian Killed Town Elders can join Villian on a die check), Zombie Plague (keyed to Mystery Card Murder-can place Walking Dead at Random Location on die check) The cards-1 card each for the Manor,Abandoned Keep,Windmill, The Olde Woods Decks.6 Event Cards(2 each of Spirited Attack, Tactical Strike,Team work) The Rules Booklet-Gives a breif bio of the new Heroes & The Necromancer.Plus a New Rule that resolves the question what happens when a Hero draws a Ally Card of another Hero in play or their own Ally Card.A F7 Q is also provided that clarifies certain Abilities for the Heroes. In General usual FFP High Standards you can't tell the difference between figs,Cards & Boards from the Base Game or SWTWC. Thanks for the info. Once again you've gone above and beyond.
I find it pretty disappointing that the Necromancer uses the Vampire minions. Its understandable that they would be similar, but the beauty of this game is that playing against a different villain is like playing a completely different game. Besides for 25$+, they really should include all new information. Everything else seems great though. Is there any chance you could fill us in on what the rule is for drawing an ally card for an in-play hero. From the beginning I assumed they would just have you remove the relevant ally card from its deck, but obviously that's incorrect. Thanks again. |
