Heroes moving through barricades

So Barricades have no effect on Hero movement. But this is surely if there is a door / space to move through? It can't be that a Hero cannot normally move through a wall, but can if it is Barricaded.

I see this as moving an object away from a door and continuing your move.

Correct. You still need the door.

If the wall has reinforcements, you pay a 1 to 1 movement cost. Each reinforcement on the barricade cost you one movement point per reinforcement to remove it, then pass through.

But a regular barricade, Human types can maneuver through.
