Ok so it's not all 100% accurate and they sort of bent some of the facts to go along with their argument (I'm a history freak of some sort), but this is just cool:

I tried to watch this. Boy has Discovery gone downhill! I made it about 10 minutes in. The whole time I felt like I was watching a commercial for the actual show that would be coming up later. The narration and visuals were terrible! They glossed over all the important facts (like the whole "beer reside in pottery" part). They kept cutting to stupid shots of random people in a bar (a couple times in the show, sure -- but every segment?). Their experts are never credentialed (and many are just barkeeps framed as experts).

I'm old. And I guess I'm just a hater. :/ I'll take my grumps elsewhere.

Hehe, it's not just your grumps, the actual montage is bad and all, but I like how they assigned every great invention to beer
