I could be wrong but I think the templates like this originated from 4chan’s /k/ board. I think this particular tempalate came from http://psalmlove.carbonmade.com/ - you can see the symbol from this website imprinted on chest of the character and in the bottom right corner along with the site itself.

I was actually shown how to use an MP5 and Sig Sauer (The 2 weapons I chose to use) while on a tour of one of the Canadian military ships in Halifax.
