Hunt for Survivors: Revisited and Abbreviated
Hunt For Survivors (abbreviated)

Turns: 16

Heroes Start: Center of Town on the Truck, Heroes Start with 1 Item, Hero's Replenish (Custom Max 6 hero's a game as you have the chance to find at least 1 hero early). Hero's win by having at least 2 surviving hero's and at least 1 townsfolk and the keys in the truck.

Zombies: Auto Spawn, Hero's turn into Zombie Hero's

In Hunt for Survivors, there are no Scenario Search Items. At the start of the game, one Hero has a marker to represent the Keys to the Truck. This marker is completely different from the Hero Card Keys and they are NOT interchangeable.Could use actual car keys to give an authentic feel to players. Hero's can exchange the car keys just like regular items. To win the Heroes must have the Keys marker at the Truck.

If a hero is killed and turned into a zombie player and have the keys. The keys remain on the zombie character. If the zombie character is killed by a ranged attack, place a marker for the keys where they are dropped. A character must give up a move action on the space to search for the keys. If the Keys marker would ever be dropped inside a building that has been Taken Over, the Zombie Player must immediately move the dropped marker(s) to any adjacent space that is not a Taken Over building

Gameplay setup:
During the game, the Heroes will find Townsfolk Survivors hiding around the board that must be rescued. To represent these Townsfolk Survivors, use any type of markers face down and place them in every building on the board. When the hero does a search of a building with a marker, they roll a D6 and remove the marker from the game (See Search for Survivor Roll). Hero's must search every building for survivors marked with tokens to complete the mission. Once all buildings have been searched, the hero's must return to the truck in the center of town with the survivor(s) and the car keys. At least 2 hero's must survive with at least 1 townsfolk to win. Hero's must give up one movement action to enter the vehicle/load up the survivors.

Search for Survivor (Roll: D6)

1-2 Find zombies (Roll D3 and spawn zombies in their space)
2-6 Find a Townsfolk (Must then roll another D6 to see what type of townsfolk they find. As in reality, survivors can assist a hero or hinder them depending on their situation. See chart below)

When a Townsfolk is found:(Roll another D6)

1-2 Find a Child/Injured Townsfolk(-1 to movement, no bonus fight dice)
2-5 Find a Uninjured Townsfolk (+1 Fight Dice added)
6- Find a new Hero (May Only Find 1 New Hero per game this way. After that hero is found, roll of 6 is regular Uninjured Townsfolk)

You will want to mark your character with a different marker for what type of Townsfolk they have acquired. For simplistic reasons, pennies could be used for child/injured townsfolk and Nickles for regular townsfolk. Just remember what bonus or negatives each give your hero. If a hero dies or is turned into a Zombie Hero, the Townsfolk is killed. Remove that token from the game. Townsfolk can be exchanged just like items to keep them alive as you need 1 to win the game.

Enjoy!
