The Ravagers feeling the Dark Gods favor have perused the Godsworn Hunt back to their home territory & prepare to
seize it gaining recognition of the powers at The Varanspire. The Fighters of the Godsworn Hunt brought to bay have
turned to defend their territory.

Shond out scouting has reported seeing Ravagers to the North & West. Thedda knows that the critical battle is about to
begin moves North to intercept & puts the rest of the Godsworn Hunt on high alert

Zarshia has spied Shond & Grundann out scouting and heads West to tell the other Ravagers

Jagathra moves to intercept approach moves to intercept & hurls her Javelin at the Sorceress but the sweet perfume smell
that waifs on the breeze causes her to lose concertation & she misses

Razek moves to confront Jagathra

Ollo quickly moves out to support Jagathra & looses an arrow on Razek but again the cloying sweetness on the breeze distracts
him & the arrow just grazes Razek(1damage)

Khagra moves to support Zarshia & Razek

Grawl runs to the frey but Thedda orders the warhound to stay & guard the base camp

Khagra attacks Jagathra the Demonic Strength blow shatters the Godsworn & she goes down(12damage) & Khagra The Champion of Darkness
moves back to secure the Ravager's base

Thedda sees the battle condensing on a East/West axis. Her Godsworn Hunt controlling the NE/SE & the Ravagers
holding the NW/SW. She then sees Dour enter the entering the NE Region & moves to attack casting out a Dark Bolt which strikes the
Ravanger (3damage)

Dour takes the attack in stride & stays in position to secure the NE Region

Grawl charges into the NE to contest that Region

Khagra moves to the NW Region to contest Thedda's control & then using a Jar of Chamontic Glowflies he then attacks the Skull-Scyre
with Imbued Dark Power(8damage)

Ollo bring his bow to bear on Zarshia getting off 2 arrows & doing the Sorceress (6damage)

Razek Imbued with Dark Power moves & hacks into Ollo (6damage)

Shond returns from scouting entering the SE Region & holds to secure the territory

Zarshia moves back to the NW Region to help Khagra secure it from Thedda

Thedda knows the battle is reaching a climax. Although her warband has superior numbers they are only able to establish control
over a 4th of their Territory & the Ravagers control another 4th with the remaining half contested. She throws more Dark Bolt At
Dour hoping to drive him out of the NE but the sweet perfume wafting in the breeze throws her aim off & she misses

Dour moves to attack Grawl & his blow takes the warhound down (12damage)

Shond makes a Headlong charge to attack Dour & free the NE his strike however simply grazes the Ravager (2damage)

Razek in full Battle Lust & Imbued with Dark Power launches a series of attacks on Ollo (6damage) & 9damage) taking the bowman
out & securing the SW Region

Grundann arriving in the NE Region from scouting & sees Thedda & Dour fighting for control of the Region moves & attacks Dour
but fails to overcome the cloying sweetness in the air & lands only half a blow (3damage)

Zarshia stands with her sister Khagra to hold the NW Region

Khagra attacks Thedda & her strike hits home (9damage) The Godsworn leader is staggered but remains upright however it's too late
to make a difference. She sees half of her warband out of action & the Ravagers in firm control of half of Territory & contesting
a 3rd Region. Realizing the battle is lost she orders a retreat knowing the Godsworn Hunt has been displaced by the Ravagers &
that they must find a new Territory or perish.

The Ravagers after a hard-fought Campaign have prevailed & have claimed a Territory but Kharga knows new challenges will come.


The final score was Ravagers 5VP & the Godsworn 4VP so it was close. Finally the brute strength & Toughness of the Ravagers
beat out the superior numbers & seep of the Godsworn Hunt.

As the Ravagers settle in their Territory Thedda & the evicted Godsworn Hunt go looking for another Territory to provide
substance in the unforgiving Bloodwind Spoil.

I love this Game! Theme wise Games Workshop has provided volumes of background & rational & rare for them the cost is
under $50.You get figures for 2 Warbands & the Game comes with cards to field another 4 (you do need to buy those warnband
separately -$25-$35). It plays fast & the rules are streamlined.

The replay ability is huge even if you just use the 2 Core Game Warbands as you get 12 different Battle Cards (different Victory
conditions & set ups & Board Sides (it has a 2 sided Game board). It also has 14 Twist Cards that impose different conditions
on the Game and each Warband has an Abilities Card that allow Fighters to do unique actions.

The Game also has a Campaign system that allows for some leveling up & can place extra burdens on the winning side.

So far I have the 2 Warbands that came with the Core Game & 2 of the other Warbands that the Game has Cards for:
The Eyes of the Nine & Garrek's RReavers.
