Khagra let her hatred of Thedda Skull- Scryer fester that warband shaman had thwarted her efforts to gain prestige
& recognition her warband deserved & she would get her revenge. Deciding to do the unexpected she took her Ravagers
deeper into the Godsworn Hunt's Territory until she located their Ritual Site. The Godsworn had erected 5 great
twisted wooden pillars to sacrifice to the Dark Gods. Knowing Thedda would be bringing her warband to the region to give
thanks for their recent victory by burning the pillars she laid out an ambush. The surprise attacks would cover the Burning
& Pillaging of the totem pillars by her Ravagers & thus stealing the dark blessings of the sacred smoke tributes for
her warband.

Khagra moved to the nearest pillar

Theddra seeing her rival leader at one of the sacred pillars cast Warding Eye on herself & advances to throw a Dark Bolt
stunning Khagra (3damage)

Zarshia moves to another totem pillar to secure it for her warband

Ollo rushes to protect another sacred pillar before the Ravagers can get to it.

Dour moves to attack Theddra his Axe smashes into the Skull-Scryer staggering her (13damage)

Jagathra runs to secure a second pillar

Razek moves on Theddra & attacks the badly wounded warband leader his slashing sword taking her down (6damage)

Grundann seeing the final sacred pillar unprotected moves to secure it.

Grundann arrives at the sacred pillar & secures it

Dour Battle Lust sends him to moves on Jagathra to contest the sacred pillars she's guarding

Jagathra hastily throws a javelin at the advancing Dour misses & throws another which hits (4damage)

Razek waiting in ambush now moves on Theddra & attacks the badly wounded warband leader his great axe taking her down (6damage)

Shond arriving late on the field hurries to aid Jagathra & attacks Dour his blow hits (5damage)

Zarshia holds at the pillar she is guarding

Ollo continues to guard the pillar he is at from the enemy

Khagra holds at the sacred pillar she is guarding

Not wanting the sacred pillars to fall to the enemy the Fighters Khagra & Zarshia carve the Ravagners Rune into the 2 they
hold & send them up in flames. Ollo for the Godsworn Hunt does the same for his pillar. Jagathra & Grundann however are
fighting of Dour & Razek who are contesting control of their pillars

Khagra moves to support Razek against Grundann who is defending the sacred pillar

Jagathra holds off Dour from the sacred pillar she is guarding

Dour not to be denied attacks Jagathra with a brutal blow (12damage) & takes her down .He then turns on Shroud & with the
Inbued Dark Power of his great axe lands a blow on the Godsworn(12damage)

Shond manages to shrug off Dour's blow & consumed with Battle Lust counterattacks, his 2 handed sword slashing into the Ravager (14damage)
taking him down & moving to secure the sacred pillar

Razek attacks Grundann smashing down with his Axe (14damage) & strikes again (6damage) taking Grundann down

Grawl hearing the sounds of combat enters the sacred region & sees Grundann's fall leaving a sacred unprotected pillar scampers
to the pillar & challenges Khagra & Rezek

Zarshia in full Battle Lust cast her Spite-Tounge Curse at Grawl no longer caring about it backlash .The War dog goes down( 12damage)
& the sorceress takes the strike from the spells backlash (2damage)

Ollo seeing the last unsecured sacred pillar moves to protect it from the 2 Ravagers. He attacks Zarshia who is in his way with a
Harrying Strike (4 damage)

Shond now that his pillar is no longer contested quickly sets it on fire to ensure its sacred smoke carries the Godsworn's tribute

With battle fatigue setting in both warbands square off over the remaining pillar

Shond consumes Irondak Seed & moves to support Ollo at the remaining pillar & barrels into Khagra (4damage)

Razek attacks Ollo in a series of overwhelming strikes (6damage & 11damage) taking him down

Shond alone now but determined to defend the sacred pillar attacks Khara with a heavy blow (5damage)

Khara counterattacks rocking the Godsworn (12 damage) & taking him down.

Zarshia moves to the remaining pillars hacks off the Godsworn Rune & carves the Ravagers & burns it

The tribute smoke rises to the Dark Gods & they notice the Ravagers were more & smile on Aspirant warband.

This Campaign is really contested the next battle will be the Ravagers 2nd Conversion so there's probably
2 or 3 Battles left. This Battle "Hunt for Glory" was the first where the Ravagers generally superior
toughness & wounds won out (that & some friendly dice rolls). There are 5 objectives (my pillars) & the Ravagers
were lucky in mostly having the initiative which allowed them to get to the objectives first or be in
position to contest their control.

The Convergences are really a double edge sword you need them to win the Campaign but they impose restrictions
on the winner.This Battle was the Godsworn Hunt 2nd convergence & the restriction was they could not attack
an enemy fighter until they were activated. I didn't think this was much of a deal but it did cause a couple of
instances that the Godsworn Fighter could not Attack the Ravager who wasn't activated yet & thus sparing
additional damage.


The battle came down to control of the 5th objective as each warband had 2 so it became a slugfest
which the Ravagers won 3 to 2).
