ILL Met at Eightpoints#3D(Hunt for Glory)

The Eyes of the Nine Had worked exhaustingly in the heat of the Screaming Coil & as the Goremoon rose they had
finished mining out the Comet Iron from the crash site.The weight of the Iron bits had necessitated dumping them
into 3 piles as the fighters could only manage to transport 1 pile at a time to Varanspire. It would be a laborious
processes but the Dark Priest would well reward them for their efforts.

The Reavers had been spying on the Eyes of the Nine labors and now that all the Comey Iron bits had been collected
Garrek & his Reavers moved in to claim the spoils for themselves.

Vortemis saw the Reavers approaching & immediately understood their intentions to claim the Comet Iron bits rallying
his exhausted fighters he ran to secure the nearest Iron bits pile

Targor on orders from Garrek moved to secure the Iron bits pile nearest to his warband

K'Chrik moves to the remaining Iron bits pile to take control

Saek moved to contest control of the Iron bit pile Vortemis was protecting

Narvia moved to support Vortemis & loosed a Sorcerous Bolt on Saek which glanced off the Reaver(3damage)

Krasus moved to confront K'Chrik for control of the Iron bit pile he was protecting

Vortemis lashed out with a Bolt of Change on Seak but it merely winged him (3damage)

Garrek moved to challenge Vortemis delivering a devastating Decapitating Strike (10damage)

Garrek sees his plan is working as his fighters control 1 Iron bit pile & contest the other 2.He orders
Targor to hold & defend the Iron bit pile he has secured

Vortemis casts a couple of Bolts of Change at Saek hitting him squarely(12damage) taking him down

Garrek taking advantage of Vortemis attention to Saek unleashes another Decapitating Strike(10damage)
taking him out & claiming the Iron bit pile the Sorcerer was guarding

Narvia quickly moves contest Garrek for the Iron bit pile invoking words of Arcane Power to enhance his
Cursed Blade attacks catching the Reaver Leader (6damage)

Krasus attacks K'Chrik his biting axe hits home (12damage)

Turosh has swung around to come at Targor from behind attacks also using Words of Arcane Power to guide
his Cursed Blade & slashes into the Reaver(6damage)

Arnulf to support Tagor launches an attack on Turosh wounding him (8damage)

K'Chrik counterattacks Krasus his great sword slashing him (9damage)

The Eyes of the Nine with Vortemis down are hard pressed but have managed to keep the 3 Iron bit piles
contested.Turosh uses his Greater Healing Potion to heal all of his wounds but 1.He then attacks
Targor for control of the Iron bit pile his 2 slashing blows take the Reaver down(12damage)

Garrek attacks Narvia for control of that Iron bit pile his Decapitating Strike taking him down & gaining
control of the Iron bit pile

K'Chrik strikes out hitting Krasus & taking him down(9damage) & secures that Iron bit pile

Arnulf struggles with Turosh for control of another Iron bit pile his 2 attacks take Turosh down(10damage)
securing a 2nd Iron bit pile for the Reavers.

K'Chrik holds to defend the last Iron bit pile the Eyes of the Nine control but he is badly wounded
& out numbered. Knowing further resistance is futile he leaves the battle field.

The Reavers waste no time in gathering up the Piles for the rewards the Dark Priest will give them .

The Eys of the Nine finally lost! So the Reavers go on to their 1st Conversion.

The Hunt for Glory Battle Card somewhat favors a larger warband as victory is awarded
to the side that controls the majority of the 3 objectives. So it was 3 to 1 in favor of the Reavers.

Once Vortemis goes down things get difficult for the Eyes especially if Garrek is in play & getting
good die rolls.
