RE: In Central Pennsylvania...
Mind how you go Sarku!
The UK recently ground to halt due to snow....the only major difference is we only had about 6-8 inches of snow and everything stopped running! The UK seems so pathetic so days!! |

RE: In Central Pennsylvania...
2' Piker :P Here in Gods Arm Pit,S.Jersey has 27"flat
& it's suppose to go on another 5-6 hours:rolleyes: The wind is brutal so the drifts will be huge. I must say the City is doing a better job than the big Dec. Storm. My street is plowed & if it were possible to dig a car out you could drive (where to? is another matter) The plow has encased the cars parked along the curb behind a wall of snow. I have a garage but,God knows what the Ally will be like? Sunday I'm afraid will be a day long shoveling effort: plus the news is saying we could get another one of these on Wednesday. The Guy across the street had a fairly big snow blower/plow working about 90 minutes ago but gave it up & now you can't tell he even tried. OD Sighing like the night wind and sobbing like the rain,— Wailing for the lost one that comes not again: |

RE: In Central Pennsylvania...
Nothing at all here in Seattle. In fact, it's pretty mild.

RE: In Central Pennsylvania...
From a small PA town in the middle of nowhere (about 50 miles from State College); we got 6-8 inches.

RE: In Central Pennsylvania...
I think it's stopped for us about 10 minutes ago... the last measure I took was 26"... but I'm pretty sure we got another 3 or 4 more... soon it will be time to go shovel again...
