Both games a pretty similair at have the same theme. I feel LNoE is the better of the two.

I really don't think so,LNoE was in development for a number of years(as per FFP)
Zombies is rather generic ,LNoE actually envokes a Zombie invasion.

RE: Is zombies the mother of Last night on earth
I played Zombies before I got my hands on Last Night On Earth.
Since that day...Zombies never came out of the closet again.

I don't think the games are similar at all. Ok, they both have zombies in them and both deal with surviving a zombie apocalypse.
What else would you do with zombies? Having them over for tea and biscuits would be kind of interesting but would turn out wrong in the end anyways.

I feel like Zombies was a game more about taking the piss out of your friends. Setting them up to get "beeped" over and you escape in that helicopter, leaving everyone else behind. It was fun at times...and on other times I remember some very hard discussions and verbal fights because at that time someone just could not take any more bullshit from the other players. Sad but true (no not that stupid Metallica song hehe)

I am the reason God stopped watching.

Yep. 'Zombies' is a 'screwU' game. LNOE is co-op (for Heroes). Different design goal means different game.

I'm the same. Played the crap out of Zombies but once LNOE came out haven't touched it since. Now Zombies just collects dust on my game shelf.

at least you can recycle the zombies!! dogs and other mini's from the game to add some spice to lnoe. for instance. use the zombies!!! hero's as townsfolk hero's..

RE: Is zombies the mother of Last night on earth
I wouldn't mind finding a good 'set' of zombies!!! games. I actually don't own any of them. my buddy does.. and the main reason we quit playing was he lost some of the cards. guess I need to buy my own set.

question. are the releases stand alone.. or do you need them all in order to play.. etc?
