I like the maps in L4D but I'd agree with D153453D that L4D2 has more content.

I own both L4D and L4D2. I prefer PC over XBox version even though I originally bought it for the XBox. The fact that the DLC was free for PC user made me sell back my XBox discs and download L4D2 from Steam. The maps are pretty equal for each game but melee weapons are a sweet addition to L4D2 but L4D has better characters. Francis rules! And Midnight Riders 4ever!

Ok we actually have steam PC users here? Ok time to reinstall steam and get my L4D and L4D back up and updated... I am seeing some Weekend Warrior time with L4D going on here... hehe

i actually had my first experience with the left for dead games this past weekend when my friend brought L4D2 over, i had a blast with it can't believe i never bothered to pick it up before :S
