RE: Michael Jackson...
Seems like the Icons from my childhood are all dying at the moment.....David Carradine the other week and now Farrah Fawcett & Michael Jackson.

Can't say I was ever really a fan of his music but Thriller is still a really good album and of course, the title track has the great Vincent Price on it.

RE: Michael Jackson...
The thing is with Ed is most Brits wouldn't even know who he was. We never had Johnny over here.

I knew him because I am a bit of a US-ophile and have watched loads of US TV and he and Johnny were mentioned so many times on other programmes.

Actually the day he died I actually saw him in an episode of "Make 'Em Laugh". Don Rickles was having a pop at him, all in good fun of course.

Have tried 3 times to get a game going and every time we get the Z's into a bunch, they burst into a dance routine:

RE: Michael Jackson...
Totally with you on this, OD.

My partner Kath's mum said "I hope the Queen gets as much attention when she dies!"

BBC News still had it as a "BREAKING NEWS" item 12-15 hours after he died.

RE: Michael Jackson...
I actually painted one of my Zombies up to look like Michael way back when from the Thriller video. Right down to the glove. The jacket ended up being more of the "Beat It" jacket but still. I even have a guy I painted up and called Rot Stewart. Should be some pics of them in my gallery.

But yeah we have lost a very influential member of the Music Fraternity. The King of Pop is a Legend and he passed too soon! We also lost here in Canada. Legendary Wrestler/Commentator Billy Red Lyons. So it has been a rather sad time in the world of entertainment.

Rhyuk..the sad part is that we watch this train wreck:shy:
Well at least they will let that poor woman in
Argentina alone.

Poor Farrah Fawcett she has been reduced to a
news ticker. She was twice the woman Michel ever was:P
