Miniatures painted, or as is?

RE: Miniatures painted, or as is?
I'm currently working my way through painting my minis.

I find that even adding a touch of colour really brings an additional layer of fun to the game.

I've done the heros from the expansions, and am about to work my way through the base game heroes.

I've also settled on a style for my Zombie hoard! I've got some luminous paint to do a wash over the red zombie from Growing Hunger

RE: Miniatures painted, or as is?
I recently got my LNOE minis painted. All the main expansions except Timber Peak or Blood in the Forest. I really like the look and feel of playing with painted minis. It really makes the game more immersive and fun with friends. Easier to role play too!

Got to be painted for me,it just adds so much more to the thematics of the game itself.
The game is meant to be a movie so it must have colour there can be no other option...lol

Painted for me. I find it theraputic and literally adds colour to the game and narrative.

RE: Miniatures painted, or as is?
I just recently got LNOE and painted all my zombies before I played a single game. I have never pained any minis on any other game, I have or pained any minis period. Something about the feel of this game drew me to paint them. Now that I have finished all the zombies and have played a couple of games I'm starting on my heros. The painted minis really go good with this game. Plus it's a great way to put a personal touch on the game and your guests will notice.

RE: Miniatures painted, or as is?
Can't believe I never responded to the OP & it's been up for 5 years.
Anyway I find I enjoy the Game more if I paint the figs. I usually
play a few practice Games to get the Rules down & then I start prepping
the figs to paint.

Alas this often leads to me not playing the Game again for months until
I finish painting. I picked up Zombicide BP last summer played a couple of
Games then prepped the figs ( 200+++) then got painting block so I
didn't start until November & finished up in January. I let the figs paint
cure then things just slid and I didn't get around to finishing up with
protective varnish until earlier this month. So I just now have the Game
on the table & am playing a Quest.

I just got BITF and TP painted a couple of weeks ago.
I have a hero quest game I've been painting for the last 25 years...lol
