Its high-drama and heavy themes usually make LNOE a pretty easy one to teach to newbies. If one sticks to the base game without expansions, it's pretty easy to grasp and get. The hardest rule is usually "highest individual die wins fight" (not sum of the dice). And "checking for ties is separate from determining the winner".

Welcome to TZG Chak, the only thing I would add to what mqstout post is that you have two
