Pairing off when a hero is killed.

Ok so the scene plays out that Jenny and Sam are in the same space and on the Zombies turn they move in so there are 6 zombies within the same space as the heroes therefore they pair them off 3 for Jenny to fight and 3 for Sam to fight. After 2 Zombie fights Jenny is killed not allowing her to fight the 3rd zombie, does this mean that Sam now has to fight 4 zombies? or is that last fight for Jenny cancelled out?

Good question. Many of us have been doing this wrong until recently, when light was shed on this situation in a recent thread:

The zombies that didn't get to fight the first hero do not get to move to the second one. They are busy eating the newly dead corpse.

Just adding... if jenny becomes a zombie... Sam still doesn't need to fight her... since she only starts taking actions on the next zombie turn.
