Chapter #2-The Ghostly Curator

Sir Daniel Home-Samartian /Healing Wave Upgrade(Police Whistle/Arson Cocktail/Gauntlet
Col.Steel-Monster/Executioner/killer Instinct upgrade(Embryon)

Gentlemen Primary Objective= per Chapter Rules
Nemesis=Per Chapter Rules

London, 30th April 1888-8PM,The Nightside-Prof.Blackmore residence

Under the direction of the vaporous & erratic ghost of the Professor the Gentlemen set about
trying to locate several points of Interests the ghost needs to reveal to them. Meanwhile the
Nemesis forces have discovered the Gentlemen's whereabouts & seek to eliminate them
to keep the Cults plans from being discovered.

8-8:15PM AM- Not waiting for Blackmore's Ghost Daniel Home moved into the Study &
Baron Mantes checked out the front Foyer to see if they could see anything that might aid
the team understanding what was going on.Col.Steel hearing the back door in the Foyer open
went to investigate & found Agent Emerson in the doorway. Steel his Killer Instinct triggered
attacked doing minor damage to the Agent but more importantly planted the Embryon on him.
Blackmore's Ghost paying no attention to the activity around floated to a corner of the Foyer
beside Mr.Fox & beckoned. Fox looked & found a bottle of Vim Elixir he then moved over
close to the Study window to make sure no Nemesis minions lurked outside.

Although Agent Emerson attempt to surprise the Gentlemen had been thwarted by Col.Steel
it did allow Flaming Zombies to approach Blackmore's House unobserved from the North.South
& East. Two of them hit the Front Foyer & combusted blowing a whole in the wall & also destroying
one of the great front doors. Another two hit the Study blowing holes in its walls.The Nemesis now
took revenge on Col.Steel using it's Pyromantic Power to set the floor under him on fire.
Agent Tobais entered the front Foyer through the rubble made by the combusting Fire Zombie
and attacked Baron Mantis doing minor damage which the Baron's Enhanced Suit covered.
The Baron Counter Attacked but Tobias successfully dodged. Agent Ira Kodich arrived
outside the Study window and fired on Sir Douglass Home but failed to do any damage.

The fire lapping at Col.Steel's legs spread to the floor behind him.

8:15-8:30 PM-Daniel Home throws Arson Cocktail at Ira Kodich but the window gives some cover
& she takes only minor damage. Home then moves out of her LOS.Prof. Blackmore materialized in the
Corner of the Study again beckoning. Master fox came into the Study & approached Blackmore finding
Binoculars. Col.Steel already weaken by Emerson's attack took fire damage then took another damage by
disengaging from Emerson & finally moving through the fire behind to return to the Living Room taking
one more fire damage. Baron Mathis launches a couple of attacks on Agent Tobias but only manages to
inflict minor damage.

The Nemesis Minions continue their onslaught with Shambling Zombies appearing on the North,East &
West sides of Blackmore's House. They move toward the house and the remaining Fire Zombie combusts
against the Study wall. Agent Emerson loses an Ether to the Embyon & attacks Col.Steel twice resulting in 4
damage & giving the Col.Soul Drain as a Torment. Steel counterattacked doing minor damage to Emerson.
Nemesis called forth the power of Instill Chaos & added Supreme Villain. Agent Tobias attacked Baron
Mathis twice taking the last bit of protection from the Barons Enhanced Suit & then doing major damage
to the Baron leaving him on the verge of being neutralized.The Baron got the Torment Refuse to Fall.
Ira Kodich spawned 2 Royal Guard Zombies & then entered the Study through the window.

The fire now spread throughout the Back Foyer & out the door to engulf Agent Emerson. It also entered
the Front Foyer just behind Baron Mantes.

8:30-8:45PM-Master Fox move back to the Living Room to continue looking for items. Douglas Homes
is Neutralized but manages to revive.Blackmore's Ghost appears in the corner of the Front Foyer & beckons .
Baron Mantes in spite of an Agents attack is able to find the Momentum Vial Blackmore is pointing to.
Col.Steel suffers Soul Drain & retreats taking a final hit from Emerson & fire damage going back to the Living
Room .

Ira Kodich launched a series of attacks on Douglas Home doing major damage & neutralizing him. The
Nemesis did not invoke any Power depending on its Agents & Minions to do their job.Agent Emerson tries
inspite of losing Ether to the Embryon & damage to the fire he takes another fire damage but his attack
on Baron Mantes scores only 1 hit as the Baron evaded. The Minions continue their movement toward
the house.Agent Tobias renews the attacks on Baron Mantes doing major damage & neutralizing him.
The Baron however Refuses to Fall & manages to attack Tobais before he goes down but Tobais dodges
& avoids any damage.

The fire continues to spread into the front Foyer.

8:45-9PM- The Gentlemen take stock Col.Steel Recovers & Baron Mantes Revives. Blackmore's Ghost
again appears back in the Living Room & beckons. Douglas Homes keeps Ira Kodich & her minions at
bay in the Study.Master Fox quickly picks up another bottle of First Aid Lotion Blackmore was pointing to
& then turns & fires his revolver through the entrance to the Front Foyer at Agent Tobias but misses.

The Nemesis continues to pour Zombies toward Blackmore's House from the North & West and
then uses his Instill Terror Power to summon more Cohorts. The Zombies continue their slow advance
one attacks Douglas Home in the Study who easily evades. Ira Kodich flows up with attacks on Home
but he takes only minor damage.Agent Emerson takes damage from the fire & the Embryon but still
manages to attack Baron Mantes doing major damage & the torment Ether Drain.Agent Tobais infused
by the Nemesis with Supreme Villain makes multiple attacks on Baron Mantes which the Baron either
Evades or takes minor damage.

The fire has now spread throughout the Foyer & spilled out into the street and the local Fire Brigades
have been alerted the clanging of their bells alert the Agents & Minions that they risk discovery &
they abandon their mission without accomplishing their objectives.

Blackmore's Ghost reviles a final prized possession a Moloch Stone fragment to Baron Mantes .The Gentlemen
quickly leave the burning house & return to the Unicorn Club for breakfast.

London May 1st-5th, 1888-The Gentlemen pondered the information regarding the Moloch Stones provided
by the late Prof. Blackmore & decided they needed more resources to pursue the ancient evil behind the
recent events.

Master Fox visited the Shadow Market & obtained a pastry which he was assure that upon Eating would
boost his melee ability & help his defense. Baron Mantis took advantage of the Phoenix Club Cooling Chamber
to enhance his Health. Sir Douglas Home when straight to the Labyrinth Club researching & gaining insight
as to overcoming the power of Chaos. Col.Steel headed toward the Arsenal & acquired a set of Knuckles.

The Nemesis also saw the need to increase his powers acquiring Life Siphon & allotting his Agents extra
Benefits (from 6 Conspiracy Points)

The Gentlemen had it easier this Game as they only needed to pick up 4 Objectives to win & all 4 were
in an Activation to get to. So they prepositioned them selves & waited till Blackmore showed up. The
Agents had to get 5 Neutralizations & they only managed 2 (almost 3) & the onslaught of Minions
needed 1 or 2 more turns to become really effective.

I did run into a couple of vague Torment Cards which remained unclear even after reading the Q&A &
some of the discussion here at BGG so I just played then in what I considered a logical way.

The Game triggered several possible side Missions but my AI said no but the odds of getting a Mission
go up after each Chapter so maybe next time. I'm playing the Core Campaign with the same Gentlemen
so for Missions I'm choosing other Gentlemen, which I'm looking forward to.
