RE: Role Playing Journals
With the summer comes various one-shots in other eras. This time, a Catholic priest and his guard investigate the disappearance and murder of several children in the Holy Roman Empire in the Dark Ages Anno Domini 998 in "The Vampire of Schwarzbrunn." I ran the scenario from Worlds of Cthulhu Magazine Issue 1 on June 10.

The role-playing journal of the game are here:

Additionally, a playlist of nine videos (and soon a short highlights video) of the game session is here:

RE: Role Playing Journals
It's time for a return to Elizabethan (well, technically Jacobian) London and the Globe Theater. This time, a stagehand has gone missing from the Globe and his wife demands someone find him. A small group of stagehand, musician, and actor, along with a local physician and banker go in search of the errant Clancy Bottom, only to find themselves drawn into a strange plot that might see the destruction of the Globe itself, if not of all England.

The role playing journal for the original Elizabethan Call of Cthulhu scenario Supped Full with Horrors can be found here:

RE: Role Playing Journals
It's 1692 and a strange pall hangs over Port Royal, Jamaica. The primary English colony in the Caribbean is seeing strange times when odd signs appear all over the town. Something is very wrong and can a few pirates and townsfolk figure it out before it's too late, or is the "the wickedest City on Earth" doomed?

RE: Role Playing Journals
A friend of the investigators has made an amazing discovery in the basement of his recently inherited home on Power Street in Providence. He wants them to come with him to document it as it could be a great historical find. When he goes missing, it's up to them to find him.

On Aug. 27, the regular 1920s Call of Cthulhu campaign game set in Providence, R.I. continued with "The Darkness Beneath the Hill" from Doors to Darkness.

RE: Role Playing Journals
When a lawyer in Bristol, Connecticut, asks a small group of people to investigate a house in Sandisfield, Massashusetts, assessing the valuables there, it seems like an easy way to make some money. But there is something more to this case of declaring a man legally dead. Something is terribly wrong at this house.

On September 17, I ran a small group of mixed regular players and new players in my first 7th Edition game of Call of Cthulhu. The 1920s game (and possible short campaign) started with the scenario "The Inheritance" from the monograph Horror Stories from the Red Room.

The role playing journals of the game are here:

John Leppard as James Cloverfield (dilettante)
Jacob Marcus as Marco Pavil (soldier)

Ambralyn Tucker as Elaine Chatwick (shopkeeper/milliner)
Katelyn Hogan as Edna Petrov (nurse)

The investigators have arrived in Louisiana, more or less safe, and head off to Terrebonne Parish to investigate the strange disappearances there and the possible wildcatting going on. What terrors will they find?

On September 24, 2017, the regular 1920s Providence campaign continued with "Dog Will Hunt" from The Unspeakable Oath #18.
