RE: Role Playing Journals
When one of the investigators asks another to come to New York City to visit, neither expect it will lead them to the mob and the supernatural.

On October 1, I ran the new 7th Edition Call of Cthulhu group with an old, 6th Edition scenario: Dead Man Stomp.

The role playing journals of the game session are here:

Additionally, a playlist of six videos of the game session is here:

RE: Role Playing Journals
Having scouted out the crevice and learned all they can in the village of Oakhurst, the adventurers meet a new traveler in the village and eventually she joins their group. Then they enter the great ravine that holds The Sunless Citadel.

On October 9, the Pathfinder game continued as our adventurers finally head for the dungeon.

The role playing journal for the second session of The Sunless Citadel is here:

Players were:

Jacob Marcus (DM)

Myself as Iago (human mage)
Justin Moser as Brook (human ranger)
Katelyn Hogan as Argie (wyvaran cleric)
Victoria Larson as Caterina (human brawler)

RE: Role Playing Journals
Did you do anything special to adapt to Pathfinder? 3.0 to Pathfinder can be a hell of a jump.

I've been considering delving into my D&D3 material to run in Pathfinder once my current campaign (Rise...) finishes.

We're playing straight from the Pathfinder book but, to me, it doesn't look much different from 3.0/3.5. I'm not running this game, so I'm unsure if the DM is modifying stats for monsters and the like. He did recently get the Pathfinder Bestiary, so he might be changing the stats of the monsters.

Dealing with kobolds and goblins, each in their own way, is tricky. Of course, talking to the kobolds while murdering the goblins SEEMS to be working.

On October 23, the Pathfinder game continued as the adventurers negotiated with some and battled others.

When the small film company Tenebris Studio decides to send some actors, the director, and a producer to do location shots in Houston, Texas, they're able to book a Learjet fairly cheaply. Unfortunately, there's a much higher cost for those who get trapped within.

On October 28, I ran the original Call of Cthulhu scenario Fear Jet 1972 at the Appalachian State University Gaming Club Gamefest.

The roleplaying journals of the session are here:

Kyle Lewis as Sandra Denning (actress)

Xavier De Leon as Sandy Trix (actress)
Jonathon Griffith as Vic Johnson (actor)
Kurt Klesser as Carl Smalley (producer)

Great Grandpa Silas has the best Halloween parties and the Lovecraft Country Cousins all enjoy them more than anything. But something goes terribly wrong during the party in 1928 and it's up to the children to save their parents and grandparents before the night is through.

On October 29, I ran the call of Cthulhu scenario "Halloween in Dunwich" by Oscar Rios from the Halloween Horror Monograph as a Halloween one-shot.

Having investigated Nyarlathotep, one of the investigators thinks he has a lead: a man in the Appalachian Mountains of Pennsylvania. Unfortunately, something happens on the way there.

On November 12, I ran the new 7th Edition Call of Cthulhu group with an original scenario to end out the semester and the short campaign: "The Lurker in Tunnel 13."

The role playing journals of the game session are here:
