Romero Inspired
Played a great Romero Inspired game last night...
Player 1: 3 Heroes Player 2: 3 Heroes * above done like a draft. Zombie Player: Starts with traditional d12 zombies +3... Rules: Zombie Autospawn and can use all as the Zombie pool. Turns: 20 Goal: Each Player starts with their team on opposite ends of the board... next to a car Each Player must uncover tiles/cards to reveal and claim the following: Gas, Keys and $$ (tile)... The team to return to the car and escape wins. The game was Romero Classic as you had Heroes shooting heroes for their own selfish needs... with the typical ending, Zombies winning as they picked on the injured heroes... it was awesom. |

RE: Romero Inspired
Interesting idea, Doraz!
I have had been mulling an idea over for a while but a 3 player game but haven't gone beyond the basic idea at the mo. One Player - Heroes. Two Players - Zombies for about 5 rounds. Then you would randomly chose one Zombie Player becomes a troops/ National Guard player, who will shoot anything on sight. You would probably have to have some kind of search item, like the cannisters in "We Gotta Go Back". The troops would be searching for it and the Heroes would have to find it as well, to bargain their way out of town. As I say I have just been mulling this one over and haven't written anything down yet. |

RE: Romero Inspired
Doraz, you have heroes fighting heros:
Shooting at each other - yes Hand to hand combat - yikes I'm guessing that in a hand to hand fight the defending hero can still use two (or three) dice, and yet wins ties as well? Just curious if you ran into this situation and how you handled it. |

RE: Romero Inspired
Artanis,
Shooting was pretty easy... Hand to hand we let the heroes roll like normal, but on ties, we let no one win (as heroes usually lose on ties with a zombie). So if both heroes tie, then neither is wounded... the loss is to the hero that initiated the fight, as they got stuck in that square until next turn... the other hero can disengage as normal rules on their turn, of if they stay must fight... |

RE: Romero Inspired
Can enemy heroes exchange items as normal? You never know when both parties benefit from the exchange.
I'd really like to give this scenario a try here, sounds like bloody fun! |

Mentara Wrote:Can enemy heroes exchange items as normal? You never know when both parties benefit from the exchange. I think it would be cool if they could. Then you can have players forming alliances and gang up on eachother. Wich just add's another twist in this already crazy scenario I suggest we first play all the in-game scenario's and then have a go at this one, what ya think Mentara?
