"Fight" Dice

I had this question while playing this past weekend.

If an Elder Secret gives you +# Fight Dice, does that mean Combat dice only, or any skill dice you are using to fight with? (E.g. having an item that allows the hero to use spirit/cunning instead of combat.)

I chose to interpret it as whatever skill I am using to fight with, those are my fight dice, so therefore I added the bonus.

+X fight dice would add it to any stat you used. +X Combat would only add to Combat stat specifically.

In the 10th anniversary edition at least there are secrets which can do both, so there's definitely a distinction between Combat and Fight Dice.
