Smells like cabbage question

So we were playing last night and ran in to a question. Two heroes where in the same spot and I played Smells Like Cabbage on one of them. Can they stay in the same spot or does one have to move. For more info the two heroes where protecting a crowd at the time the card was played. It did not affect our game, but I want to know for the future.

Here's the card text:

Quote:Play at the start of a Martian Turn on any Hero. While in play, no other Hero may end their move in the same space as this Hero. Remains in Play.

So, while you play it on one specific Hero, the card affects the other Heroes. Example, you play it during your turn on Jo Jo. As long as Smells Like Cabbage is in play, Jo Jo's teammates cannot end their move in Jo Jo's space. But there's a way around this - Jo Jo can actually end his move in the same space as other Heroes! So you can make the other Heroes take their turns first, then move Jo Jo in their space.

To answer your question directly, the hero that doesn't have Smells Like Cabbage? He has to move to a different spot.
