Soft Plastic
I came to this forum because of my involvement with Shadows of Brimstone. This being an FFG/Zombie fansite I figured it would be a good source for discussion.

Through this site I have also become involved with District Z, and considered Zombicide or LNOE.

I recently acquired LNOE and found something I wasn't expecting..... VERY soft plastic figures. Being a gamer of some of the 'Other' model building systems (40k and Dropzone Commander for instance) I hadn't actually thought it likely to use such squishy material.

How well does it react to painting? Does being painted make it rigid enough to not bend and flake off?

RE: Soft Plastic
great question.
i was going to start painting mine next week so if anyone knows the answer before i start painting that would be great.

you might want to move this to the painting area of the forum. you might get a answer faster in there.

RE: Soft Plastic
Well I've had no problem with the Soft plastic-basic warm warsh/DW detergent prep-spray
basecoat -paint & secure with varnish (I use Gloss & a second Matt coat).Note I haven't done
any LNoE figs but plenty of similar soft plastic types.

Samuraitrev has painted tons of LNoE figs so he could give specific details,I've done lots of
soft plastic & haven't had a problem. It doesn't make it rigid nor cause it to chip off if it gets
bent.

I'll message Sam so he'll see this ASAP.

RE: Soft Plastic
i've painted all the LNOE hero's and zeds. I use the spray on white primer you can get at model stores int he lil 4oz cans. and then painted away using gw paints, plus a couple enamil paints from a model set

Hi SpoKnight
I think it's great that you've decided to paint your Last Night on Earth figures. They're absolutely fine to paint but I will echo what OD said.

1) Make sure you give the figures a good clean in clean water and a small amount of detergent.
2) Then rinse under cold water and allow to dry.
3) Undercoat your models
4) Paint then seal with a varnish
5) Game
6) Display or store them seperately. (I have heard of them sticking together)

I have done lots of guides here http://www.thezombiegame.com/forums/Foru...with-Death

plus you tube guides here https://www.youtube.com/results?search_q...amuraitrev

I spent a lot of time getting the colours exactly the same as the pictured characters by looking at the cards, manuals, character cards etc. If you want to take a look they're all here

Those figures are fantastic! I have no idea how someone could put that much detail in.

Stunning, simply stunning.
