It's a good question. 10 Games in now using these characters and I do think that they are strong compared to the Zombies in Timber Peak (as a stand alone game). I also think the Timber Peak deck is a lot more Hero friendly. I wonder how the Timber Peak characters will do in my next game mixing it up with the rest of the game e.g. Grave Weapons...

Here's more stats for the 1st 10 Timber Peak games played as a stand alone expansion.

Scenario
Learn to Survive: x1 Hero win. x1 Zombie win.
Mountain of the Dead: x2 Hero wins.
Blow Up The Town: x2 Zombie wins.
Radio For Help: x1 Hero win. x1 Zombie win.
Darkest Night: x1 Hero win. x1 Zombie win.

Overall Hero victory probability:
50%

Hero of the 10 Games
Ed Baker x5

Weapon of Choice over 10 games
Hand to Hand x4 (including card effects and abilities)

More stats coming soon...

RE: Some gamerstats from all 72 LNoE games (updated 14 Mar 2014).
I like these stats. The question I have is what is the length of time it takes to play each scenario?

I am planning on running LNoE in an unofficial game convention (held in someone's basement). This format require that I am able to teach and play this game in a scheduled time slot.

How much time would I need? How much does this vary when playing different scenarios?

It can vary. Some Scenarios instruct you to play until Sunset or Sundown. Or your Heroes could get wiped out in a few turns (especially when you're only allowed to lose 2).

I would say, on average, our games take about 2-3 hours. Although we do use EVERYTHING.

Depending on numbers. I would dedicate a full day and if possible a full weekend.

I would choose Characters, Board Sections and Scenario all randomly. Although if time is really short you could go for the Scenarios which have a shorter time limit. I believe some are as short as 10 Turns.

However you could make it really fun and treat it as a campaign (each Scenario follows on-Characters carry on, dead characters stay dead etc.)

Keep us posted how it goes. I love stuff like this.

RE: Some gamerstats from all 72 LNoE games (updated 14 Mar 2014).
Thank you for the input. I will only have two hours to setup teach and play the game. That is why I am very concerned about time. I will prep as much as I can to minimize setup time. I was thinking about running Lost in the Woods for the scenario since it is only 12 turns and has early victory conditions for both the heroes and zombies. Because of the tight time I was thinking about reducing the number of potential search locations.

With your experience in a his scenario, how long does it usually take to play?
How many search locations should I use to bring the play time to about 90 minutes?
How should I compensate the zombies if I reduce the number of search locations?

Here's a game report of when I last played this Scenario. http://www.thezombiegame.com/forums/Thre...-the-Woods If I were you I wouldn't change anything. If you set everything up you should just about make it in 2 hours. Although this depends on other factors such as how familiar you are with the rules and how long players take. One of our group is like a freakin' chess player and deliberates over every conceivable eventuality. Which makes it all the more sweeter when their Hero gets eaten alive. I take great pleasure in describing their agonising death to this player. Much to their displeasure. Zombie17Zombie17Zombie17Zombie17Zombie17
