RE: The Father Joseph question
in most of the games i've played in, He's always the first chosen, if I allow players to choose characters.
I usually do either blind game and chosen heros.. or chosen game and blind hero's. occasionally for fun we do double blind and randomly choose everything.. etc.. |

RE: The Father Joseph question
We hand out 2 heroes cards to each player, and make them choose one.
Father Joseph rocks if Becky is playing, or if there is a good first aid Pickup spot in town. Otherwise he is mediocre. |

RE: The Father Joseph question
Father Jo is one of my least favorites...I don't know why other than
I never play with him. Victor is my first choice when it comes to picking Heroes. ~If we are being chased by Zombies, I'm tripping you!!! |

I've played with a couple of different groups, and I always hear people say how horrible he is, one of the worst, down there with Jenny. His ability forces him to take a wound and still isn't guaranteed success, and even being immune to "This Could Be Out Last Night On Earth..." I've seen the Becky thing tried before but to very low success because of how disadvantageous it still is to have two characters that need to hang around one another all of the time. I've even seen somebody try to rock him with Faith, but even that's not enough to get anybody to want to play as him. |

RE: The Father Joseph question
i think people are focusing to much on the combat aspect of the hero. half the game is running and alot of scenarios dont even require you to kill a zombie. when you get cards played on you like bitten, desperate for flesh, or growing hunger, its extremely useful to be able to cancel them in any scenario.
