The House of Windows
by John Langan
Basically a chick has a few glasses of wine & talks for 260 pages without chapters.Ok I know it sounds like a total suck but it grabs you & at page 260 your exhausted. It's a psychological haunted house story (Belvedere House) of memory, malediction, loss & remorse.Dickens,Poe & Lovecraft together at last. The mutual torment of a father, son relationship that goes beyond death.Plus you get 3 endings. I picked this up as I love old weird house stories & creepy covers so I really had no idea what I was getting into.Frankly it drew me in & held me. OD Sighing like the night wind and sobbing like the rain,— Wailing for the lost one that comes not again: |

RE: The House of Windows
OD passed this on to me & it's really weird. It just goes
on & on I keep looking for a natural break but there aren't any. You just keep reading & reading as it holds your interest,it's a very unusual book. M This night...I feel your breath This night...I hear your voice!! When you walk my dark path, love like a bloodbath |
