The Road to Woodbury - Rise of the Govenor Sequel

RE: The Road to Woodbury - Rise of the Govenor Sequel
I will try to be as fair as i can,

I read both novels, i liked them a lot but i am pretty convinced that the reason i like them is because of the walking dead theme, i believe that the writing is not very strong, although the characters are. I just started reading another zombie-apocalypse novel, with a little different zombies, which i like more, it is called The Remaining, it already has 3 books published but unfortunately only on digital editions. You guys should check it out!

RE: The Road to Woodbury - Rise of the Govenor Sequel
For anyone paying attention, TWD had a third novel out, The Fall of the Governor Part One, in like October. Part 2 is due out at the beginning of March.

I would definitely agree that the writing in these novels is not very strong, but despite that there are some sequences of pure heartwrenching sadness. There's a moment in Road to Woodbury that hit me harder than anything else in any of the various iterations of The Walking Dead, so the novels have that going for them.

But mostly I'm just editorializing the hell out of them as I read, making mental changes on ways it could have been written better.

RE: The Road to Woodbury - Rise of the Govenor Sequel
Just picked Walking Dead-Fall of the Governor Part II which was in the new release Section
& then hunted around & found Part I.

Not great literature but I've read the other books in the series & for a Summer read
it will be fine.

Still haven't started the Fall Part II yet. Really need to get around to it.
