The Slab-GoW Series
The Slab was a good read,I am always surprised at how
well these books are written.I really didn't expect the
character development & the way one book will
explain references in an earlier book.I guess it's
somewhat like the Vid. Game where you get to certain
levels & something is unlocked.

The book in GoW time line is probably around the
2nd Book in the series. It explains Felix
"Treason" & what really happened to his father. It
also gives background on his father's contact with
the Locus Queen and Felix & Anna relationship.

Most of the book covers Felix's 3 years in the Slab,
CoG high security jail & how how the Govt.is dealing
with the Locust closing in on Jacinto .

It ends with Felix being rescued from the Slab by
Dom (the Locust have overrun the place) and rejoining the Army. The President has been keeping Felix on ice to
make sure his father keeps working on anti-Lambency
research & to use him if a suicide mission comes up.
It's obvious that Mission will be the Light-mass Bomb,
as becomes operational just as the book ends.

Sighing like the night wind and sobbing like the rain,—
Wailing for the lost one that comes not again:
