Total Shock - David Carradine RIP
Just went onto the BBC News site and saw that David Carradine has been found dead in a Bangkok hotel room:

BBC NEWS

I think the most shocking part is the following:

Quote:the 72-year-old was found by a hotel maid sitting in a wardrobe with a rope around his neck and body on Thursday morning.

I once spoke to him and thought he was a complete dickhead but he was a face from my past, as I was a huge fan of Kung Fu the series and of course, I recently loved him in Kill Bill!

RIP David Carradine.

Hmm...sounds like that auto-asphyxiation thingy.

He was good in Kill Bill.

Yeah... the auto-asphyxiation thing came to mind for me as well... especially after the word "genitals" was replaced with word "body" in later news stories.

I may still be crazy, just because Sarku agrees with me, doesn't make me more sane.

LOL

Never too old for Kink..I guess:rolleyes:

I saw this ,this morning surfing at work (State business
of course:P )but it was just that he was found dead.

I remember the TV show, his father John was a great
character acter.Sad way to go (like there's a happy way).

RE: Total Shock - David Carradine RIP
The BBC have changed the wording of the story just significantly enough. Earlier it said he was found with a cord around his neck and body, it now say neck and other body parts.

Carradine starred in a film that I loved as a kid into Karate and still love now called The Silent Flute aka Circle of Iron. He played 4 parts in it including the Monkey King, which was hilarious. The story, like that of Kung Fu, came from Bruce Lee.

I am always happy to see his father John in movies and when you watch old horror/thrillers it can get a bit like spot the Carradine!

Also, I have just started watching the first series of Deadwood and Keith Carradine is great in that as Wild Bill Hickock

And just to finish off the family, David's other brother Robert is great in the first story of the Carpenter/Hooper portmanteau film Body Bags!

Er....Did I read over the weekend that the Carradine family is asking the FBI to investigate?

They think there is more to this story that what is reported....

Zalgo....he comes.

RE: Total Shock - David Carradine RIP
I guess it follows suit to my creedo of enjoying actors in roles, and not paying any attention to their personal lives.

Zalgo....he comes.
