Twopiearr's Troopers
Thanks for all the feedback on Katie - you've given me a lot to think about. In the meantime, here's the rest of what was inspired by the mini purchases. Note that some heroes have a <reserved> keyword - means I'm holding out till Hero Pack 1 to see if anything new and cool is introduced, and that nothing currently in play seemed to fit.

NSA Agent
(note: only one will be used, they were just sold in sets of two)
Starting Location: Post Office
Quote: "It stands for No Such Agency. That's all you need to know."
Keywords: Male Military
Wounds: 3
I've Seen This Before: Once per Human turn, the NSA Agent can take a Wound to allow any die to be rerolled.
Specially Trained: The NSA Agent does not have to end movement when entering a space with only one Zombie.
Background: This Agent would have been keeping us safe from the zombie menace for years - if there actually was one. If he told you any more he'd have to kill you.

Humphrey the Old Man
Starting Location:
Airplane Hanger
Quote: "We didn't have zombies back in '42. This must be you kids' fault."
Keywords: Male Military
Wounds: 3
Not That Hungry: Adjacent zombies are not required to move into Humphrey's space.
Crack Shot: If Humphrey uses the Revolver against a Zombie in his space, it is Wounded on any roll other than a 1.
Background: A former Navy pilot, Humphrey has seen a lot of strange things in his life - nothing quite like this, but if the enemy can be taken down, it's just a matter of time.

Kat the Poledancer (note: based on the movie Zombie Strippers - link SFW, movie very much NSFW)
Starting Location: Gas Station
Quote: "Love is dead."
Keywords: Female <reserved>
Wounds: 3
Spiked Heels: Kat adds 1 to all Fight Dice rolls when she doesn't use a weapon.
Gang Bang: Kat rolls an additional Fight Die for each zombie more than 2 in her space.
Background: On her way to her next feature dancing gig, Kat's car broke down in Woodinvale. What began as a pit stop may have turned deadly, but she's used to taking care of herself.

Prof Beattie the Researcher
Starting Location:
Drug Store
Quote: "Reanimation of the dead isn't scientifically possible!"
Keywords: Male <reserved> (Strange?)
Wounds: 3
Aim For The Head: A hero in the same space as Professor Beattie can reroll one Fight die per turn.
Chemistry 101: Whenever he could search, Professor Beattie can discard an Item card to draw Dynamite from the discard pile.
Out of Shape: Professor Beattie subtracts 1 from his movement roll, to a minimum of 1.
Background: A man of science with a desk job, Prof. Beattie has never believed in things for which no scientific explanation exists. While his personal jury is still out on what's happening, his scientific mind is quick to notice patterns that will aid in survival.

Wolf the Biker
Starting Location:
Junkyard
Quote: "It ain't murder if they don't have a pulse."
Keywords: Male <reserved>
Wounds: 3
Tools of the Trade: Wolf begins play with the Crowbar.
Former Bodyguard: When a Hero in the same space as Wolf would take a wound, you can give it to Wolf instead.
Background: Wolf isn't a bad guy; he just doesn't live by quite the same rules. Call him a criminal, but when push comes to shove his loyalties are in the right place.

Morgan the Bank President
Starting Location:
The Bank
Quote: "Undeath does NOT excuse your loan payment!"
Keywords: Female <reserved>
Wounds: 3
I Own This Town: Morgan can reduce her movement by one to remove an adjacent Locked Door token or cancel a Locked Door card played on her.
Secret Stash: When searching, Morgan can select one of the top 3 cards of the discard pile instead of drawing a new card.
Background: With an MBA in Accounting, Morgan was happy being a big fish in a small pond. She's been squirreling things away against disaster for years - now's the time to break em out!

Madge the Old Woman
Starting Location:
Antique Shop
Quote: "Why are you throwing that away? It's FINE!"
Keywords: Female Strange
Shaky Hands: Madge subtracts 1 from her rolls to see if a weapon breaks.
Perfectly Usable: When a Hero in the same space as Madge breaks a weapon, they can give it to Madge instead of discarding; Madge can't use it this turn.
It's Here Somewhere: When Searching, Madge may draw 3 Hero cards, select one, and discard the other two, or she may Search normally.
Background: A junk trader for years, Madge opened the Antique Shop partly to get her collection of stuff out of her small home. She can find value in just about anything.

Summer the Cheerleader
Starting Location:
High School Gym
Quote: "Gimme an R...gimme a U...gimme an N!"
Keywords: Female Student
Wounds: 2
Backflip: At the start of a fight, Summer can roll a die. On a 5+, the fight is canceled and she moves to any adjacent space.
Youth: Summer may give up a Move action to heal all wounds.
Background: Summer is new in town and hoped becoming a cheerleader would maker her popular - but this isn't exactly the sort of attention she was hoping for!

Dog Spit the Punk Rocker
Starting Location:
High School
Quote: "RAWWWWWWRAGH!"
Keywords: Male Student
Wounds: 2
Rebel: Dog Spit cannot end his turn in a space containing a hero without the Student keyword.
Power Chord: Dog Spit may give up a Move action to move all Zombies in his space to adjacent spaces of his choice.
Youth: Dog Spit may give up a Move action to heal all wounds.
Background: With a guitar that goes up to 11 and beyond, honor student Marcus "Dog Spit" McAdams is ready to rock - or rumble!

RE: Twopiearr's Troopers
Ryuk Wrote:(although Wolf & Morgan are the same)

d'oh! I'll fix that.

Quote:Only ability I'm not getting is NSA Agent's 'I've Seen This Before'... Taking a Wound to allow any die to be rerolled. It just seems like a helluva price to pay to only reroll a die.

Keep in mind that's ANY die roll made in the Hero turn, not just the NSA Man's and not just a Fight Die. But I'll admit that all of these need playtesting yet.

RE: Twopiearr's Troopers
some pretty good stuff, all i can say is that when makeing hero stuff you want it to be as simple as possible, and not over power them.

when life hands you zombies, rev up your chainsaw.
