I live about 45 minutes South of Raleigh, North Carolina. However, I am originally from Virginia Beach, Virginia, and I still frequently go back home to visit family as it's only about a 4 hour drive from where I live now.

Little town (technically classified as a City, but I think there was some jigery-pokery done to get that done) of 8000 people called Dryden in Ontario, Canada.
Fantastic place to live if you like melting(+40C) in the summer and freezing(-40C) in the winter.

I live in Wels, a small town (~30.000 citizens) in Austria, which is about 2000 years old, dating back to Roman times, when it was called Ovilava and part of the province of Noricum. It is about two hours west of Vienna, and just an hour away from the German (Bavaria) and Czech border. An absolutely lovely place to live, with a lot of hills and deep forests and the alps on the horizon.
