That's a long way back to remember....but I'm sure
we didn't have Purple Blobs with Teeth in the 40's-50's

Watchmen02 I just knew you would bring up the Blob...but it
didn't have teeth.I actually saw this with my Girl Friend
when it came out (the long lost Carole).

RE: Worth picking up?
I just picked this up through a trade and I was really impressed. It plays really well solo and co-op too. I haven't tried the pvp mode yet. Each game has been a close race to the finish with a nice "tug o' war" feeling between the earthlings and invading forces. I can't wait to see what the expansion has to offer.

RE: Worth picking up?
pVp can be quite fun in certain circumstances. While playing this game, though. It feels like it's most balanced in a 2-player Co-Op game. Other modes usually end up to be quite stompy (Unless you play pVp and you pick the same STR per Race. Fighting a race double your Strength is NOT fun.)

RE: Worth picking up?
I've been on the fence about this game since finding out about it. After reading this thread, I am becoming persuaded.

Thanks!

That's solid. While I do like to support the local games shop, that is far too big of a discount to ignore.

Thanks for the heads up, LSD!

I thought I scored a deal when I recently won my copy off eBay for $30 shipped but it's slightly used. Enjoy!
