Wink a new chapter
hi everybody,
just finished my first game, I played it solitaire which was fun but you have to handel a lot of stuff, the first thing I did after I played was remove a couple of "remains in play" cards because I found that there were just to much cards on the table, other than that I quite liked it. A nice change from playing LNOE.
Ya know what would be cool, is a kind of tray where you can put your character sheet in plus spaces to put investigations, items, "remains in play" cards,...So when playing your cards and markers don't move as much around.
I think I'll try something in cardboard for when I play it again with some friends
cheers

RE: a new chapter
Welcome Kid,you didn't spell it out but it's obvious you game was AToE,I salute you superior
taste in Games.

Yes AToE can get "cardy" especially if you have the Something Wicked Expansion going on as well.
Then again I just finished a Game of Mansion of Madness and the table was a sea of Cards & Tolkens.
Both these Games require a bit of room eventhough the Game Boards aren't really that big,to
fit all the cards /Tolkens in,it can be easy to overlook stuff.

RE: a new chapter
I was just wondering if there are any official miniatures for the villains or do you have to search the net for these types?
I'm also thinking about playing as the villain like in LNOE once my friends join the party, there's enough stuff to do as the villain so why not éy.
looking forward to the next one.
It's still gonna be the basic game but I also bought the expansion + the extra hero pack.

RE: a new chapter
No official Villain figs ,alas your on your own but their fairly generic types so you can
easily find something to match.I think there are examples in the AToE Board or Models & Painting Boards.

I think the main problem would be getting a fig in the right scale.

They provide you with little chips you can use for the villian, but they aren't even important to the game. I want mini's too, so I can put them where the villian strikes. It would be cool for the "Ride to Town" with the Headless Horseman too. If anyone finds cool figs for this, post a link here. I will if I find anything too.

RE: a new chapter

vampire: http://www.reapermini.com/OnlineStore/va...down/03248
werewolf: http://www.reapermini.com/OnlineStore/we...down/02872
scarecrow: http://www.reapermini.com/OnlineStore/sc...down/60029
the horseman is a problem, but I guess it's possible to buy a regular horseman and cutting the head of

bog fiend: http://www.reapermini.com/OnlineStore/se.../50168_g_1
dryad: http://www.reapermini.com/OnlineStore/dr...il/IG_44_1

hope this helps
cheers

the vampire is pretty classic, a lot of the vampire mini's have to much armor, it just doesn't fit with rest of the game
just my opinion Watchmen02

RE: a new chapter
....look what the creature from the black lagoon dragged in.
The captain himself...the beast of the meatsword...slayer of maidens, goblins and butterflies.
Watchmen02

Wassup buddy!!? Watchmen02

For those who don't know, this is my mate Cisn. I'm not realy sure why he didn't put up a normal "Hello, my name is blablabla" but he sometimes moves in mysterious ways (he even bought a sasquatch car...but that is another story...punishment needs to follow...)

So who is Cisn aka Kid Darqo (check myspace for Darqo)
He's been playing LNEO with me since the day I got it. Got hooked on it, just like me Watchmen02
When we play LNEO, he and his wife (correction: fiancee Watchmen02) are mostly in on it.
And now he got ATOE Watchmen02
Just recently got into his middlelife crisis...and the trend being here that the males buy motorcycles, fancy sportscars and start dating younger women, but no...El Capitan decided to build his very own Ghostbuster costume. You got to love this guy!

Don't worry about the vampire dude, I have one here from my Bloodbowl times. You can use it if you want.
It's an old figure, painted by a buddy of mine long time ago. But it still looks nice.
It's this figure (but with a different color scheme)

I'll bring it when I drop by.

Oh...and if you want to put an order in with Reaper Minis, just shout...I want those Zombie Strippers Watchmen02

I am the reason God stopped watching.
