I keep a bat and a machete pretty handy, but local guns laws in Oz makes real zombie proofing difficult.
I do have a few weeks worth of food, but how long would the water work for??

Ready no I don't think you can ever really be ready for a zombie horde, at least you Americans have easy access to guns. Although the cold up here may freeze them out, I sure hope it's winter.

We're pretty well set gear wise.
Now working on getting fit.

I wouldn't say I'm specifically prepared for something like that. Especially since I doubt something like we see in the movies ever could or would happen. Even if it did, it probably won't be in any of our lifetimes. But, nonetheless, we do have a few things that could work as weapons even if just temporarily (including a huge sword and machete that we won at a Ren Faire).

So, we'd at least stand something of a chance of finding our way to more supplies and then to shelter somewhere. So, it would be a matter of being very careful, and hoping for a lot of luck. ;-)

Sadly no guns in the uk. But other things are sorted. Including tools to take the staircase out when we have to fortify the house. We'll be upstairs when you arrive......
