anyone playing the new conspiracy XX RPG?


we have a campaign going.

one atf agent, one dea researcher. one ufo abductee, one groom/dry lake/moondust researcher, one usmilitary officer and one cdc researcher.

have a project rasputin player that makes a cameo now and then.

pretty funny I gotta say...

playing every sunday for the last 2m so far..

you get points to build a character. some skills.. some attributes. some qualities and flaws.

after construction.. you get experience. skills are spendy to add and a lil spendy to bump.. but qualities are as cheap as when built.

plays with a die roll 'test' vs a trait and difficulty level.

i like it.

not an overly general system .. ie.. you couldn't use the game system rules to tun just any generic rpg.. like with hero system.. or the savage world. or some d20. this one is pretty much tailored to this spy vs alien system. pretty fun though. Watchmen02

I use Unisystem Classic for my current campaign. It's more Witchcraft that ConX, but ConX themes are still involved (pulling strings) and it's the latest core rulebook for the system for reference.

yep.. interesting setup.

you can tell that conx is not 'super' friendle. the espers are really limited by the high art/skill costs.

I like the group we have going. can't wait till noon tomorrow. Watchmen02
